Enhancing Leadership
Te Pai Ora SSPA is thrilled to announce that the return of this popular learning opportunity for social sector leaders, facilitated by inspiring kaitiaki.
The leaders who have joined over the last two years were able to strengthen whanaungatanga within the sector, further develop leadership skills and nurture their own hauora.
In 2026, we are offering unique, tailored workshops featuring a distinguished line-up of Kaitiaki—respected leaders in their fields, including: Kaye-Maree Dunn, Dr Chris Jansen Sandy Thompson and Tracey Bridges. These sessions will blend presentations, frameworks, and philosophies with peer-to-peer discussions and real-world workshopping, providing a rich, interactive experience for all participants.
Key topics will include collaborative leadership, governance, and mana wāhine and mana tāne approaches to community-based leadership—essential skills for today’s social service sector.
The series will begin and conclude with a whanaungatanga session, fostering collective leadership and creating a lasting community of practice. With places limited to 15 leaders, we encourage you to secure your spot early (please note, registration is limited to two participants per organisation). Signing up grants you access to all six sessions.
We look forward to building the success of previous years and continuing to grow our collective knowledge and leadership capacity.
