Nau Mai, Haere Mai ki Whakamanawa 2025 – The National Social Services Conference!
As the host of Whakamanawa, Social Service Providers Te Pai Ora o Aotearoa warmly invites you and your fellow kaimahi to join us at the Rotorua Energy Events Centre on Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 September. Earlybird registrations are now open!
Whakamanawa is a conference that inspires, encourages, and connects us, bringing kotahitanga across the social sector. It’s about uniting our collective knowledge, skills, and passion so we can all return to our communities and hapori refreshed, ready to continue making a real difference.
We welcome everyone working in Aotearoa New Zealand’s social sector to gather with over 250 delegates from across community-based social services, the government social sector, and a broad range of connected spaces.
Day one of Whakamanawa will see all attendees gather together in the main plenary space to hear from our keynote kaikōrero, encouraging kotahitanga across our sector.
Day two of our conference will feature a wide range of engaging workshops providing you with valuable information to take back to your hapori. These will be across five streams; Facilitating Inclusivity; Innovation in Social Services; Sustainable & Thriving Organisations; Strengthening Your Practice and Change Making in Our Mahi.
We are pleased to be able to offer discounted accommodation rates in Rotorua during Whakamanawa 2025, find out more here.
