“Press Pause” a recently launched online interactive website hub to support adults in positions of responsibility in Aotearoa navigating the management and prevention of concerning and harmful sexual behaviour with rangatahi

During our first Kai & Kōrero session for 2025, Stop Services will share "Press Pause" - a new resource for adults supporting rangatahi in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Press Pause is a website created to equip adults to respond effectively and support rangatahi who may have engaged in concerning sexualised behaviour. It is designed to grow confidence working with rangatahi by:

  • Understanding common sexualised behaviours
  • Learning to recognise harm
  • Providing tools and resources to respond effectively, and have safe and supportive conversations

Please join us as we explore the website content, how it was developed in collaboration with a community advisory group, and our hopes for its use to support and guide rangatahi.

This session will be presented by Bex Fraser and Lyn Jansen from the Prevention Education Team at Stop. Join them in working towards Stop's vision - "He hapori wātea taitōkai - A community free from sexual harm"
