Increasingly, New Zealanders on low to middle incomes are finding themselves turning to alternative sources of finance to supplement their incomes. The demands of modern life now mean that kiwis are regularly faced with high variable costs, such as household bills, vehicle registration, or business equipment. Sometimes money to pay for these things is not immediately available, and Kiwis have had to take out short term credit loans to make ends meet.
